Curation Traffic v1.54 is officially released… to get the latest version login to the members area, download and please follow the update instructions (they haven’t changed if you’ve done it before).
So what is included in this version? Some great stuff (also you can watch the video overview below)…
- Quotes/Curated Styling – You can now style the curated content in many ways. From the size and color of the quotes, background color, border and padding. You’ll find this in a a new tab titled Curated Content Styling.
- Read More Button styling – New options here as well, the read more text can be a text link or a button. Full styling is included as well. We also reduced the number of read more links on the main page down to one. That makes the design much cleaner. You can find this in it’s own tab Read More Button.
- Ability to have commentary be first – Now you can have commentary show up first, this is great if you do the type of curation we tend to do. That is give context first then lead to the curated content. You’ll find this addition in the Post Behavior tab.
- Google+ Profile Link – We added the ability to add your Google+ profile to the header. You’ll find that option in the RSS & Social Links.
- Also Bit.ly API added – not sure how we missed this before but now you can put your own bit.ly account so you can track your clicks. You’ll find that in the Social Sharing Button Options.
- Tracking Code and Google Analytics – We also included a fix for Google Analytic, this bug has kept popping up but with some extensive testing we solved it.
- Speed improvements – we changed how images are being accessed and this looks to have improved speed.
